Emily Carter, Founder
My name is Emily Carter, and I created Wanderwing, the app that gets our kids outside. As a mom of two girls and vice president at a major non-profit, I have spent more time than I want to admit wondering if my kids are getting enough screen free play time. Together we will raise a generation of kids who are tech savvy but never tech dependent.
Outside of work, I love leading my daughter's Girl Scout troop, coaching Girls on the Run, mentoring fundraising professionals, and wandering with my family.

My name is Sam Carter, and creative problem-solving has been the cornerstone of my career and my life. As a 20-year veteran of the film industry, owner of a fabrication studio, and devoted family man, I've dedicated my life to learning to make things with my hands and to teaching others how to do the same.
I’m on a mission get kids to put down their screens and make something with their hands.
