Emily Carter, Founder
My name is Emily Carter, and I created Wanderwing, the app that gets our kids outside. As a mom of two girls and vice president at a major non-profit, I have spent more time than I want to admit wondering if my kids are getting enough screen free play time. Together we will raise tech savvy kids who are never never tech dependent.
Outside of work, I love leading my daughter's Girl Scout troop, coaching Girls on the Run, mentoring fundraising professionals, and wandering with my family.
Sam Carter, Artistic Director
My name is Sam Carter, and creative problem-solving has been the cornerstone of my career and my life. As a 20-year veteran of the film industry, owner of a fabrication studio, and devoted family man, I've dedicated my life to learning to make things with my hands and to teaching others how to do the same.
I’m on a mission get kids to put down their screens and make something with their hands.
